Object and Scope of the Clarification Text
We, Ektav Tavukçuluk Yem Sanayi Hayvancılık Tarım Ürünleri Gıda Lojistik İç ve Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi, take measures in order to protect your personal data under the Protection of Personal Data Act No. 6698 (hereinafter to be referred to as “PPDA” or “Act”). We process your personal data in our capacity as the “data controller” for the following reasons and by the following methods under the PPDA and relevant regulations.
Clarification Text for the Processing of Personal Data of Ektav Tavukçuluk Yem Sanayi Hayvancılık Tarım Ürünleri Gıda Lojistik İç ve Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi has been drawn up in order to provide you with information in the most transparent manner as to the identity of the data controller, method and legal reason of the collection of your personal data, for what purposes such data shall be processed, to whom and for what purposes they shall be conveyed, data processing time and what your rights as listed in the Article 11 of PPDA are pursuant to the Article 10 entitled “Clarification Obligation of the Data Controller” of PPDA. Any explanations about “Your Personal Data” made in the clarification text cover your “Sensitive Personal Data” as well.

(The company shall be hereinafter referred to as “Company” or “Ektav Tavukçuluk” in this present Clarification Text.)
Method and Legal Reason of the Collection of Your Personal Data
Your personal data may be collected in an oral, written or electronic manner via the Company’s subsidiaries and affiliates, website, social media channels, call centre, mobile applications, software used for carrying out operations within the Company, camera shootings and the like by automatic and nonautomatic methods. Your personal data may be created, processed and updated and kept on both digital and physical media as long as your relation with the Company continues.
Your personal data may be processed and conveyed in case data processing is mandatory for the legitimate benefits of the data controller in accordance with the purposes as contained under the heading “Your Process Personal Data and Processing Purposes” and provided that an explicit consent condition is satisfied under the first paragraph of the article 5 of the Act No. 6698 or, as provided in the second paragraph of the article 5 thereof,
- a) in case it is explicitly set forth in laws;
- c) in case it is necessary to process the personal data of the contractual parties provided that it is directly related to drawing up or performing contract;
ç) in case it is mandatory for the data controller to be able to fulfil its legal obligations;
- e) in case data processing is mandatory in order to create, exercise or protect a right;
- f) in case data processing is necessary for the legitimate benefits of the data controller provided that it shall not impair the relevant person’s basic rights and freedoms.
Your Processed Personal Data
Your personal data are processed in a safe and secure manner as a requirement of the legal obligations or for the purposes of providing a more appropriate service in the Company’s business and operations in compliance with the Protection of Personal Data Act.
In this context, the data as contained in the table are collected as personal data:
Process Security: This data category represents such data types as the IP address data, Website log in/out data, password and keyword data. (security keys, user names, user ID, log records, IP addresses)
Purposes of processing the personal data so collected:
Your personal data shall be processed:
- To allow our relevant business units to be able to perform any necessary operations so that any natural persons and/or legal entities that have relations with the Company (employees, visitors, patients, suppliers, business partners, etc.) may benefit from the products and services of our Company or any head offices and units affiliated to our Company;
- To fulfil any and all legal and regulatory requirements which arise/may arise from the Act on the Regulation of Publications on the Internet and Suppression of Crimes Committed through Such Publications No. 5651 and any and all relevant laws and secondary regulations and to be able to take any necessary measures in this context;
- To carry out any inspection and regulation duties to be carried out by any commissioned and authorised public bodies and organisations as well as by any professional bodies of public authority nature;
- To satisfy any requests for information and documentation required by any judicial bodies and/or administrative authorities;
- To carry out any listing, reporting, verification analysis studies regarding the usage of the products and services offered in our Company and all the head offices and subsidiaries affiliated to our Company; to generate statistical and scientific data on the matter; to improve our products and services accordingly; to increase the satisfaction related to our products and services and make user-related customisation in this context;
- To fulfil the risk management and quality improvement activities;
- To take any and all technical and administrative measures required for the system and the applications under data security.
To Whom and For What Purposes Your Processed Personal Data May Be Conveyed
Your personal data may be conveyed to
- any legally authorised public bodies and organisations in accordance with the requests of the relevant public bodies and organisations and to be limited to the purposes of such requests;
- domestic organisations which we contractually receive and/or provide services and cooperate in order to carry on our activities
for the purposes listed above under the personal data processing conditions as stipulated in the Article 8 of the PPD Act by ensuring any and all technical and administrative measures intended for the proper security level as per the PPDA and the relevant regulations to be taken.
Data Processing Time and Storage Time
Your personal data shall be processed by complying with any data processing and prescription times as contained in all the relevant laws and other regulations to which our Company and the head offices and units affiliated to our Company are subject to be limited to the purposes provided in this present Clarification Text. In case any modifications concerning data processing times are made in the laws, the new times so determined shall be taken as a basis.
As a requirement of the purpose-boundedness principle, your personal data are processed to be limited to the period of time required to fulfil the purposes described in the Clarification Text and, at all events, to require such data to be processed as per the legal periods, Company’s practices and the practices of the business life and either deleted or destroyed or anonymised once the periods have expired.
Relevant Person’s Exercising His/Her Rights:
As a relevant person, you may exercise your rights by sending a written application of your demands covered by the article 11 of the Act regulating the rights of a relevant person to “Mansuroğlu Mahallesi Ankara Cad. No: 81/90 Bayraklı/İzmir” or electronically to “muhasebe@ektav.com” on condition that your e-mail address is registered in the Company’s systems or by filing an application with the Registered E-Mail Address of the Company at “ektav@hs03.kep.tr” pursuant to the “Communiqué Regarding the Methods and Principles of Application to the Data Controller”. A more expansive regulation on the matter has been made in the Ektav Tavukçuluk Kişisel Data Application and Reply Procedure and Ektav Tavukçuluk Protection and Processing of Personal Data Policy. You may access to the relevant procedure at the Company’s website or in accordance with the request which you shall file with the relevant staff member.
